The Dopod 838Pro might be based on the HTC Hermes' reference design, but it has added functionality like a 360-degree jog wheel input that makes browsing through e-mail and the Internet a breeze. This 3G-enabled quadband GSM smartphone supports EDGE, GPRS, WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. The Dopod 838Pro is also more than able to handle HSDPA connections. Features include the all-important push e-mail functionality for road warriors, Bluetooth A2DP support, 128MB of ROM, 64MB of RAM, a 2 megapixel camera, and a lovely 2.8" 65k color TFT LCD display. It should be available at stores near you when released in the second week of August.
